SCBC offers a variety of Memberships depending on your participation level.
Recreational, Elite Open and Volunteer memberships are FREE. All other athletes, coaches, setters and gyms will have a fee.

For Youth E - U11 (YE) athletes who want to start to compete. YE does NOT collect points and may only be eligible for select events and camps. YE is NOT eligible to qualify for Climbing Escalade Canada (CEC) events (Western Regionals or Nationals).

For athletes who want to compete in SCBC sanctioned events, but aren't interested in earning a rank, being eligible for Team BC or selection camps and not interested in Climbing Escalade Canada (CEC) events.* $0 up front, $15 will be added to the competition registration fee for each event you register for. Athletes that hold a valid license for another federation are not eligible and must purchase an OFA membership.

For ELITE Senior athletes who are 'PRE-QUALIFIED' by Climbing Escalade Canada (CEC) within the past 2 seasons. Elite Senior athletes may compete in any SCBC event and are automatically selected for Team BC. Youth A or Junior are not eligible for this membership. Qualifying Open members automatically have their memberships updated to Elite Senior members at no charge at the start of the season.

Mandatory for all coaches attending SCBC sanctioned events and camps.Visit Coaches Path to learn more about the minimum training requirements to become a sanctioned SCBC coach. ONLY sanctioned SCBC coaches will have access to the field of play, including ISO or be able to submit appeals.

Gyms

GYM/FACILITY
For any gym/facility that would like to host an SCBC event, get SportBC funding via Kid Sport for your club members, or simply support SCBC. Annual membership will be waived for facilities hosting SCBC competitions. Membership is valid for one calendar year from time of purchase or renewal.
